GlobeMed at UC funds SAW's Community Health Outreach Program. CHOP was created to educate migrant communities in the Mae Sot area. Facilitated by personable SAW staff and peer educators, these workshops address topics of personal hygiene, community health, and disease prevention.
The majority of our fundraising for CHOP is done through Individual Giving and our annual Benefit Dinner. Benefit Dinner is a major team effort put on by our chapter. UC faculty, community members, and others champions of the cause attend for an enchanting evening of education and empowerment. Tickets for Benefit Dinner will go on sale Winter 2018.
